In 1998, Marie Facella began her career in the Spa Industry. First as an Aesthetician and loving her work, she then added Massage Therapy, followed by Acupuncture. With a strong desire to gain more knowledge, she is constantly seeking ways to further educate herself.
More than 10 years ago, Marie opened 27 Om Holistic Spa. In the beginning, the spa started as a small 2 room office suite in Queens where the focus was really knowing her clients and providing each and every one with the latest and best personalized service. She then moved and expanded the business, putting everything she had into to a 2000 square foot beautiful spa facility, employing 7 to 8 therapists, aestheticians and technicians. Unfortunately, in October 2012, Hurricane Sandy destroyed the business along with her personal property. With too much structural damage to repair by herself it was time to dust off and start again.
